Nitin Kaul

Mr Kaul has 20 years’ experience in strategy consulting, M&A, restructuring and business transformation across multiple business segments in developed and emerging markets. Prior to joining Helios in February 2018, he co-founded Syndeo Capital, a boutique advisory firm focused on M&A, restructuring and operations management, primarily advising private businesses buying from or selling companies to private equity firms. Previously Mr Kaul worked at Gates Corporation as President for Oil and Gas/Marine business, as well as the Automotive and Industrial businesses across emerging markets. He was a member of the Executive Committee and of the senior management team that led the sale of Gates Corporation to Blackstone for $5.4 billion in 2014. Prior to Gates, Mr Kaul worked at Tomkins for over 10 years in various senior roles. He was previously a senior manager at Arthur Andersen in Group Finance and Strategic Development. Mr Kaul serves on the Boards of Directors of Axxela, OVH Energy, TPAY Mobile FZ-LLC and Misr Hytech. He holds an MBA from Warwick Business School and a MSc in Investment and Portfolio Management from City University Business School. He also obtained a BSc in Business Management from King’s College, University of London. Mr Kaul is an Indian and UK national, and speaks Hindi.
