Meta van Veghel

Meta van Veghel has a diverse work experience history. Meta started their career as a Tutor in chemistry at Studiecentrum Haren in 2008 and held the position until 2012. From 2012 to 2013, they served as a Member of the full-time board at G.S.C. Vindicat atque Polit. In 2013, they took on the role of Student Assistant in Control Engineering & Calculus at the University of Groningen. In 2013, they also started working at Shell as an Intern in LNG Development, then progressed to become a Process Engineer in LNG Design from 2015 to 2016, and later as a Process Engineer in LNG New Markets from 2016 to 2018. Following their time at Shell, they joined McKinsey & Company as a Consultant from 2018 to 2021. Currently, Meta works at Heliox, where they transitioned from the role of Growth Manager from 2021 to 2023 to their current role as Director of Strategy, which they started in June 2023.

Meta van Veghel completed their education at the University of Groningen. From 2008 to 2011, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering and Management with a specialization in Product and Process Technology. Meta then pursued further education at the same university and earned a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering and Management in the field of Product and Process Technology from 2011 to 2014. Before attending university, Meta van Veghel attended Gymnasium Beekvliet from 2002 to 2008, focusing on the Profiel Natuur en Gezondheid.
