Tanya Quintal

Tanya Quintal is a Cultivation Technician at Helius Therapeutics. Tanya has been with the company since November 2019 and has been instrumental in the cultivation and propagation of medicinal cannabis. Tanya has a keen eye for detail and a passion for quality, which has helped their succeed in their role. Tanya has a strong working knowledge of the cannabis plant and is able to clone plant material and conduct seed germination. Tanya is also responsible for sourcing and applying integrated pest management and disease treatments to crops, as well as fertilisers and irrigation processes. In addition to their cultivation duties, Tanya also assists in harvesting plant material, including drying and de-stemming. Tanya is also responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the work area and safely moving plant material and green waste. Tanya is dedicated to their work and takes pride in producing high-quality medicinal cannabis.

Tanya Quintal has a diploma in management from The University of Waikato and a degree in cooking from Auckland University of Technology.
