Annika Papantoniou

Chairman, Board of Directors at Hellenic American Educational Foundation Athens College-Psychico College

Annika Papantoniou was born in Athens in 1957 and graduated from Abbots Hill School in Hertfordshire, Britain. He holds a Degree in Economics and Business Administration from the American College of Greece-Deree.

He is Vice President of the Board of Directors. of AM Nomikos Transworld Maritime Agencies SA, a family owned and operated ocean liner business.

As a wife and mother of graduates of the College and today as a grandmother of its students, she is inextricably linked with the School. For many years he has been an active member of the College family with a significant contribution from various positions of responsibility.

Her College activity began in 1989 with the Association of Parents and Guardians of Psychiko College, of which she was President (1992-1995), and continued in the Association of Parents and Guardians of Athens College, of which she was also President (1996-1999). Since 1992 he has been an active member of the Parents Fund Drive Committee and today he is a member of the Alumni Parents Fund Drive Committee.

Since 2000, he has been a member of the "Hellenic American Educational Foundation" Association. In 2005 he was elected a member of the Board of Directors of the EEI, where he has served as Secretary General (2010-2018) and Vice-President (2018-2020).

Since 2010, he has been the Treasurer of the Board of Directors. of the Georgiou & Maris Vergotis Charitable Foundation.

Her husband is a graduate of Nikos Papantoniou College '70, MD, PhD, Emeritus Professor of Obstetrics - Gynecology - Embryo-uterine Medicine of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
