Despina Doxaki

Despina Doxaki has a diverse and extensive work experience. DESPINA started their career in 1993 as an In-house Counsel at Technical Olympic Group. From there, they worked as a Tax Planner at KPMG Greece in 1994 before becoming an In-house Legal Counsel at AKTOR SA from 1995 to 1999. DESPINA then joined Alpha Bank as an In-house Legal Counsel, where they specialized in corporate banking and project finance. In 2005, Despina became a Partner at KYRIAKIDES GEORGOPOULOS Law Firm, a position they held until 2014. During this time, they also became an International Partner at Chadbourne & Parke LLP from 2014 to 2017. DESPINA then worked as a Legal Counsel at Milbank LLP from April 2018 to October 2018 before moving to Shearman & Sterling LLP as a Legal Counsel from November 2017 to October 2019. Most recently, Despina has been working as the Head of Legal at Hellenic Financial Stability Fund since August 2018. Additionally, in July 2019, they became a Member of the Board of Directors at Public Power Corporation SA.

Despina Doxaki's education history begins in 1981 when they attended the European School Brussels and completed their International Baccalaureate degree. DESPINA continued their education at Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon from 1986 to 1990, earning a Bachelor's degree in Law. In 1992, they pursued further studies at the Institute for European Studies, ULB (IEE-ULB), where they obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree with a focus on European law/ Banking in 1993.
