Kostas Tsatsaronis

Kostas Tsatsaronis serves as a Non-Executive Member of the General Council at the Hellenic Financial Stability Fund since June 2019. Prior to this role, Tsatsaronis held multiple positions at the Bank for International Settlements from July 1994 to March 2022, including Head of Emerging Markets, Head of Secretariat for the Committee on Global Financial System and Markets Committee, Head of Financial Institutions, and Senior Economist. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Athens University of Economics and Business and a Master of Arts in Economics from Wayne State University, complemented by studies at the University of California, Berkeley.
