Valerie Hershiser

Valerie Hershiser, CMP, DMCP, is a seasoned professional in the destination management industry, currently serving as the Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships at Hello! Destination Management since December 2009, where responsibility includes leading sales and marketing strategies for key national accounts and coaching a matrix team. Prior to this role, Valerie was the President and Owner of The Key Event Group for over a decade, overseeing daily operations and strategic initiatives. Earlier experience includes serving as Director of Special Events at Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center, where Valerie managed departmental budgets and staff, and held special project management roles at Macy's, coordinating major in-store promotions and events. Valerie holds a BS in Public Relations and Marketing from The University of Alabama.
