Mike Byrne

Mike Byrne is the current Vice President of Sales at Flock. Prior to joining Flock, Mike served as the Vice President of Strategic Alliances at Guardian Life, where they were the primary relationship manager for the company's top 20 employee benefits distribution partners. New business and inforce premium from these strategic partners grew from 15% of overall Guardian book to 40% over 7 years. In February 2019, Mike left Guardian Life to start their own company, ZR Distribution Advisors, which helps Employee Benefits Brokers, Carriers & Technology Platforms increase revenue through Distribution strategy, planning, execution & results. Prior to their work at Guardian Life, Mike worked at State Mutual Life Insurance Company (now Allmerica Financial) from August 1979 to December 1993, where they started as a sales representative before eventually becoming a manager in the Group & Group Pensions department.

Mike Byrne's educational career consists of a B.S. in Business Administration from State University of New York College at Oswego and Monsignor Farrell High School.
