Robotics Engineer at Hello Robot

Mohamed Fazil has a diverse range of work experience. Mohamed is currently employed as a Robotics Software Engineer at Hello Robot Inc, where they contribute to the software stacks for a unique mobile robot called "Stretch." Previously, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University at Buffalo in the Assistive Wearable Robotics Lab, where they focused on developing a deep learning approach for controlling a robotic prosthetic wrist using EMG signals. Mohamed Fazil completed their Master of Science degree in Robotics from the University at Buffalo in the years 2020-2021. Before that, they earned their Bachelor of Technology degree in Mechanical Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology from 2015-2019. Prior to their undergraduate studies, Fazil completed their Higher Secondary Schooling (XIth and XIIth) in the Maths Computer Science Group from Vyasa Vidhyalaya Mattric Higher Secondary School from 2013-2015.
