Creative Producer - Contract (4 Months)

The Home Edit is a full-service home organization company, a global lifestyle brand, with a line of consumer products, and a media + content creation studio. Co-Founders Clea Shearer and Joanna Teplin started their organizing business the day they met six years ago with a singular vision: combine home organization with a unique design aesthetic and share it with the world. Their blend of form and function resonated with millions, they are the stars of the Emmy-nominated Netflix series Get Organized with The Home Edit, the authors of three New York Times’ best-selling books, the creators of multiple product lines sold in retail locations around the world, and operate organizing branches in cities throughout the country.

The Opportunity:

The Home Edit is seeking a creative producer/editor who can consistently bring strong ideas to the table and execute them in a timely manner and within budget. This is a role for an experienced production professional with a deep understanding of digital production; you will have the opportunity to recommend how we build out our content studio capabilities and establish production guidelines across The Home Edit. You'll develop, produce, shoot and edit content that will bring “The Home Edit” to life across all our social platforms.

Must be well-versed in digital video platforms and varying production models and have a passion for lifestyle content. You'll mentor junior team members and work collaboratively with other cross-functional teams to develop and execute editorial series, marketing campaigns, branded sponsorships and more. Experience working with celebrity talent is preferred.

This position is onsite in Nashville, TN.

What You Will Do:

• Create, produce, shoot and edit The Home Edit digital video content and series
• Make creative, fun, and social-driven videos that people will like and share across our platforms
• Brainstorm and pitch opportunities for original videos
• Consistently deliver videos that drive views and engagement on social media channels
• Develop new and clever ways to bring The Home Edit to life in video
• Research and write scripts; develop treatments, shot lists, and breakdowns as necessary
• Deliver polished edits that illustrate a keen understanding of what works on social media; shift between editing, as needed, and overseeing editors
• Onboard and mentor new team members
• Expertly and proactively problem-solve, arriving at unique solutions to complex problems
