Yandong Liu

Yandong Liu currently manages the core engineering division for the newsfeed business, including AI-driven recommendation systems, at NetEase. Previously he helmed the development of a machine learning team at Uber, and prior to this he led machine learning research at Yahoo Labs. He was working towards his PhD degree in computer science/language technology at Carnegie Mellon University before taking a permanent leave of absence to join the workforce in 2011.
