Ben Wheeler

Ben Wheeler has a strong background in the travel industry, with their most recent position being the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for Retail and Digital Transformation at Helloworld Travel Limited since April 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Corporate Technology at the same company from January 2020 to April 2022. Before joining Helloworld Travel Limited, Ben held various roles at Corporate Travel Management, including Global Head of Technology Engineering from May 2016 to January 2020 and Head of Product Development from May 2010 to May 2016. Ben also gained experience as a Product Consultant at Veda Advantage from January 2010 to May 2010. Earlier in their career, Ben worked as an Online Product Manager at FCm Travel Solutions from September 2006 to October 2009, an e-commerce Product Manager at HRG New Zealand from June 2005 to August 2006, and an Online Product Specialist at Access Interactive Ltd from December 2003 to June 2005. Ben began their career as a Retail/Corporate & IT Consultant at Bon Voyage Cruises & Travel, where they worked from December 1998 to February 2005.

Ben Wheeler attended the Spherion Institute in 2001, where they pursued a degree in Information Systems with a specialization in IT. In 1997, they enrolled at the Crown Institute of Studies, completing a Diploma in Travel, Tourism & Business Studies.
