Nils Paegel

Nils Paegel has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Nils started their career in 1990 at Deutsche Shell AG as an Internal Auditor and later served as a Quality Manager and Team Leader in Procurement Depots + Logistics. In 1998, they joined Shell & DEA Oil GmbH as a Team Leader in LPG Trading + Logistics. Starting from 2003, Nils worked at Shell Deutschland Oil GmbH, where they held roles such as Supply Chain Optimizer and Team Leader in Inland Supply Trading. Nils also served as the Manager of New Business Development Trading + Supply Europe/Africa. Since 2016, Nils has been with HELM AG, where they initially served as the Head of Department for Global VAM and Acrylate Esters business. Nils later took on the role of Executive Manager for Global Acetyles, Acrylate Esters, and Phenolics business and currently holds the position of Head of Base Chemical Solutions Europe 4.

Nils Paegel completed their degree in Industrial Engineering at Wirtschaftsakademie Schleswig-Holstein from 1986 to 1990, earning a Wirt.Ing. (BA). Nils then pursued further education at Fachhochschule Nordakademie Elmshorn, where they obtained a Dipl.Wirt.Ing. (FH) in Industrial Engineering from 1994 to 1996.
