Serkan Baspinar

Serkan Baspinar has extensive work experience in auditing and finance. Serkan started as an Audit Intern at BMB Leitner in 2005 before moving on to work as an Audit and Tax Assistant at Counsel Treuhand GmbH from 2006 to 2008. From 2008 to 2015, they worked as a Wirtschaftsprüfer / Steuerberater at Warth & Klein Grant Thornton AG. After that, they joined Verband norddeutscher Wohnungsunternehmen e.V. as a Wirtschaftsprüfer / Steuerberater from 2015 to 2018. Currently, they are employed at HELM AG, where they have held various roles including Head of Department Group Auditing from 2018 to 2020, Director Group Auditing from 2020 to 2023, and currently serves as the Vice President of Post Merger Integration.

Serkan Baspinar has a diverse educational background. In 2002, they enrolled at Universität Siegen, where they pursued a degree in BWL (Business Administration) and completed their studies in 2004, earning a Diplom-Kaufmann (equivalent to a master's degree in business administration).

Following this, Serkan Baspinar attended JurGrad at Universität Münster from 2004 to 2005, specializing in Steuerwissenschaften (Tax Sciences) and obtaining an LL.M. degree.

Shifting their focus towards professional certifications, Serkan Baspinar became a Steuerberater (German Certified Tax Advisor) in 2011 and attained the title of Wirtschaftsprüfer (German CPA) in 2013.

Recently, in the year 2021, Serkan Baspinar attended the IESE Business School for the PMD - Program for Management Development. However, no specific degree has been mentioned for this program.
