John Tonial has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. John is currently serving as the Director of Business Intelligence and Incentives at Helm since February 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a part-time adjunct assistant professor at Walsh College from June 2010 to August 2022.

John has also held various managerial positions at FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, including Senior Manager of Mopar Analytics and Profit Optimization from September 2019 to December 2021, and Senior Manager of Mopar Materials Planning from November 2014 to September 2019.

Before joining FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, John worked at Chrysler as a Senior Manager of Mopar Business Analytics, Pricing, and Incentive Management from January 2012 to November 2014, and as a Manager of Business Strategy and Analytics from August 2008 to December 2011.

Additionally, John has experience as an IT Manager at Chrysler from 2007 to 2008 and at DaimlerChrysler from 1999 to 2007. John started their career as a Systems Engineer at Electronic Data Systems from May 1985 to October 1988.

John Tonial, DM/IST, completed their Doctorate in Management (IT) from the University of Phoenix during the years 2005 to 2009. Prior to that, they obtained a Masters Certificate in Project Management from The George Washington University from 2003 to 2004. In 1992, they successfully completed an MBA from Wayne State University, specializing in Business and IT. Earlier in their education, John completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Math and Physics from Western University from 1981 to 1985. John attended St. Anne's High School from 1976 to 1981, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned for this period.
