Melanie Warren Merritt is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in corporate accounting and financial leadership. Currently serving as the Corporate Controller at Helmerich & Payne since November 2020, Melanie previously held the position of Senior Manager of Global Accounting. Prior roles include Chief Financial Officer at Orion Exploration, LLC and Rebellion Energy, LLC, as well as Director of Financial Reporting at Midstates Petroleum Company LLC. Melanie's career began at Ernst & Young as a Senior Auditor, building a strong foundation in financial practices. An alumna of Oklahoma Baptist University, Melanie earned a Bachelor of Professional Accountancy with an interdisciplinary emphasis in Finance.
