Ole Maier

Ole Maier is an accomplished leader with over 40 years of experience in the offshore drilling industry. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of International Offshore at Helmerich & Payne since January 2025, Maier also contributes as a Board Member at Offshore Norge and Chair of the Board of Directors at Turan Drilling and Engineering Company. Previously, Maier held significant positions at KCA Deutag, including President of Offshore Operations until January 2025, and various leadership roles at Odfjell Drilling from 2002 to May 2020. Maier's educational background includes studies at Horten Ingeniør Høyskole, BI Norwegian Business School, and ITC.
