Alain T. Tamoffo

Alain T. Tamoffo is a postdoctoral researcher at Helmholtz-Zentrum Hereon since March 2023, focusing on the Equatorial Africa climate system, particularly the inter-linkages between precipitation and the processes generating them in the Central African rainfall system and the West African monsoon system. Previously, Alain completed a Ph.D. at the University of Yaounde I from December 2017 to March 2021, investigating the implications of global warming in the Congo Basin. Alain's academic journey at the University of Yaounde I spanned from 2009 to 2020.
