Alexander Hermann

Alexander Hermann is an accomplished academic and researcher with extensive experience in mechanical engineering and technology management. Currently serving as a Fellow in the University Innovation Fellows program since October 2022, Alexander promotes student empowerment and innovation. As a doctoral researcher at Helmholtz-Zentrum Geesthacht, Alexander focuses on high-performance computing in computational mechanics. Previous roles include freelance work in programming training, graduate assistant positions involving data science assessment of vehicle systems, and numerical modeling for electric vehicles. Alexander's educational background includes an MBA in Technology Management from NIT Northern Institute of Technology Management and both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in General and Theoretical Mechanical Engineering from Hamburg University of Technology.
