Robert Weidner

Robert Weidner currently serves as the President of the Österreichische Wissenschaftliche Gesellschaft für Produktionstechnik since February 2024, after holding the position of First Vice President from February 2022 to February 2024. Additionally, Robert Weidner is a Professor of Manufacturing Technology at the Institute of Mechatronics at Leopold-Franzens Universität Innsbruck since August 2018 and operates as the Managing Director of exoIQ since December 2017. Robert Weidner has also been leading a research group at Helmut-Schmidt-Universität since November 2014. Previously, Robert Weidner worked at Helmut-Schmidt-Universität Hamburg from 2010 to 2016. Robert Weidner holds a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Mechanical Engineering from Hamburg University of Technology, obtained in 2010.
