Jim Benner

Jim Benner is an accomplished music industry professional with extensive experience in event management and promotion. Currently serving as the Global Music Lead and Music Events Specialist at War Child UK since January 2013, Jim has been instrumental in organizing major fundraising events, including the award-winning War Child BRITs Week. Additionally, Jim holds positions on the Communications and Development Advisory Board and Board of Trustees for Help Musicians and Music Minds Matter, contributing to the empowerment of musicians. Previous roles include Head of Music and Events at Children in Conflict, Head of Special Events at MAMA Group, and various leadership positions at Global Radio, GCap Media, and Capital Radio, showcasing a strong background in live music and event promotion dating back to the late 1990s. Jim Benner holds a degree in Broadcast Journalism from Penn State University.
