Emily Mills

Emily Mills is currently an HR Administrator LVI at Helping Hands. Emily has previous experience as a research intern at Vista Equity Partners from July 2019 to August 2019, and as a scholar at Girls Who Invest from June 2019 to August 2019. In their role as a scholar, Emily completed a highly selective, rigorous 4-week training program focused on core investment concepts and skills taught by business professors at the Wharton School of Business. Upon completion of the program, Emily earned a 6-week asset management internship. Additionally, they formulated a comprehensive investment pitch of a large cap company, visiting corporate headquarters to meet with investor relations and engineering a market survey to gather millennial spending data. Prior to their experience in the financial sector, Emily shadowed at Kristin L Young, An Ameriprise Private Wealth Advisory Practice in July 2017. During their time there, they accumulated nearly 20 hours of hands on exposure to the field of financial management by attending client meetings and reviewing financial statements and records alongside a professional financial planner. This experience helped to establish their interest in this career field and better exemplify the responsibilities of the job.

Emily Mills has a Bachelor of Finance from Auburn University Harbert College of Business. Emily is certified from Bloomberg in BMC - Economic Indicators, Currencies, Fixed Income, and Equities.
