Cara Perkins (Whaley), MS, MT-BC, NMT, HPMT-Cert. is a dedicated music therapist with extensive experience in various healthcare settings, currently serving as a Music Therapist at the James L. West Center for Dementia Care since November 2018. Cara has also held the role of Personal Care Attendant and Therapeutic Collaborator since March 2017 at Helping Restore Ability, supporting a brother with special needs. Previous roles include music therapy positions at St. Gabriel's Hospice & Palliative Care, Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care, and Faith Presbyterian Hospice, with a strong focus on end-of-life care and bereavement support.
