Anam Lodhi has a diverse work experience. From 2014 to 2018, they worked as a Learning Support Teacher at the American International School of Jeddah. In 2018, they transitioned to becoming a Research Assistant at North Carolina State University until 2019. Anam then worked as a Special Education Teacher at the Wake County Public School System from 2020 to 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Deputy Director of K-12 Programs at Helping Education, starting in 2023. Prior to this, they were a Project Manager and Implementation Coach at the same organization, where they applied evidence-based interventions, coached educators, and conducted educator trainings. This role lasted from 2022 until 2024.

Anam Lodhi completed their Bachelor's degree in Psychology from North Carolina State University in 2011. Anam later pursued a Master's degree in Special Education and Teaching at Meredith College from 2019 to 2020.
