Billy Smith

Billy is Managing Director of PhishLabs by HelpSystems. He is passionate about building scalable, high-growth cybersecurity businesses that deliver exceptional customer experiences. Billy has more than 24 years of cybersecurity expertise spanning engineering, operations, sales, and leadership roles. As Managing Director he leverages his deep understanding of how to protect enterprises and their brands from today’s digital risks to achieve their strategic vision.

Billy joined HelpSystems in 2021 when the company acquired PhishLabs. As Executive Vice President of Global Sales and Corporate Development at PhishLabs, he led the business to achieve record revenue growth and customer retention. Billy previously held roles with SPAWAR, Cisco, LURHQ, SecureWorks, Qualys, and Waratek. He holds a B.S. in Mathematics from The Citadel in Charleston, South Carolina.
