Matt Bresnan

VP, Research & Development at HelpSystems

Matt Bresnan is Vice President of Research and Development at HelpSystems, where he is responsible for defining the strategic roadmap and driving the global development of their software products.

Matt joined HelpSystems in 1995, starting as a software engineer and serving in multiple managerial and engineering roles over the years. In addition to his current role leading the R&D team, he has also played an important role in numerous acquisitions, managing technical diligence before the transaction and planning the subsequent integration. Matt also sits on the IBM Advisory Council for Power Systems. He's passionate about technology and software engineering and has written several articles on those subjects for industry publications.

Before joining HelpSystems, Matt held various software engineering roles at Coca-Cola Enterprises and as an independent contractor. He holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Business Administration from Minnesota State University, Mankato.
