Derek Exner

Derek Exner has been with the University of Calgary since 2000, holding the positions of Executive Director at IMPACT Clinical Trials Accelerator, Associate Dean, and Professor. Derek currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer at HelpWear. Additionally, Derek is the Canada Research Chair in Cardiovascular Clinical Trials at the Canadian Institutes of Health Research. Derek also holds the position of Chairman of the Advisory Board at Analytics 4 Life / CorVista. Derek's educational background includes a Master's degree in Public Health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the University of Saskatchewan, and a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Medicine from the same institution.
