Elisa Bestetti

Elisa Bestetti is an experienced developer and designer with a strong background in interactive storytelling, infographics, and graphic design. Currently employed at Helsingin Sanomat since February 2018, Elisa specializes in the development and design of engaging digital content for the Finnish newspaper. Prior to this role, Elisa gained proficiency as a frontend developer at Digia Plc and contributed to various client projects, primarily focusing on data-driven single-page web applications. Elisa's design expertise was honed during years at Iso Numero, where the production of materials for Finland’s first street paper was a key responsibility, and at Plan International Finland, where numerous communication and marketing materials, along with digital projects and web design, were created. Educational qualifications include a Master in Computer Science with a focus on Data Science from Tampere University, a Bachelor of Arts in Digital Media from Metropolia University of Applied Sciences, and comprehensive training in intermedia design and liberal arts.
