Abebe Oka is a skilled project site coordinator with extensive experience in youth empowerment and community development. Currently at Helvetas since September 2022, Abebe coordinates the "Unleashing the Potential of Young Women" project, focusing on vocational training and technical support. Previously, as a project officer at Jerusalem Children and Community Development Organization from October 2018 to September 2022, Abebe worked on initiatives aimed at eradicating child marriage and improving adolescent sexual and reproductive health, funded by Plan International Ethiopia and Global Affairs of Canada. Abebe also served as a project supervisor at KMG Ethiopia from September 2014 to September 2018, contributing to child protection projects supported by the EU, FLNO, and Plan International. Abebe holds a Master of Arts in Social Psychology from Hawassa University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Dilla University.
