Marian Wojciech Szymanowicz

Marian Wojciech Szymanowicz is an experienced project manager with a strong background in water management, local governance, and economic development. Currently serving as a Project Manager at HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation since July 2014, Szymanowicz focuses on the implementation of Water Sector Reform in Tajikistan using integrated water resources management (IWRM) principles. Previously, Szymanowicz held various roles including Team Leader for GIZ Transboundary Water Management from 2009 to 2011, Local Governance Expert in Tirana, Albania, and Deputy Mayor of Pulawy, Poland. With an MBA and multiple master's degrees, Szymanowicz possesses extensive expertise in public administration reform, local economic strategies, and transboundary river basin management.
