Christian Marty has extensive aviation experience, currently serving as a FOCA approved AVSEC Instructor, Commander, and Crew Resource Management Trainer (CRMT) at Helvetic Airways since September 2019. Previously, Christian worked as a Copilot at Helvetic Airways AG from January 2015 to October 2019 and held the position of Anlagen-& Apparatebauer at Gericke from 2008 to January 2015. Education includes a MCC Course from Horizon Swiss Flight Academy in 2013, a CPL/MEP, IR (Frozen ATPL) from the same institution (2010-2012), FAA Validation of JAR PPL Licence from Tradewind Aviation International in 2011, an Eidgenössisches Fähigkeitszeugnis from ABB Lernzentren LfW (2006-2008), and a Matura from MNG Rämibühl (2002-2006).

Helvetic Airways provides a range of short- and medium-haul air services from its Zurich (Switzerland) base. In addition to its own scheduled flights, the airline uses its aircraft fleet for charter services and ‘wetleases’ under which it provides both the aircraft and its crew. Eight Helvetic Airways Embraer E190-E1s and -E2s are currently operated on behalf of Swiss International Air Lines under a long-term wet-lease agreement.
