Rahal Perera

Rahal Perera has a diverse work experience. Rahal started their career as an Audit Trainee at EY in January 2013 and worked there until March 2014. Rahal then became a Senior Associate from April 2014 to March 2015, followed by an Audit Supervisor from April 2015 to October 2015. Rahal continued to progress within the company and became an Assistant Manager from November 2015 to October 2016.

In 2016, Rahal joined Hemas C O E (Pvt) Ltd. as an Assistant Manager and worked there until May 2019. Rahal was then promoted to the position of Manager from April 2018 to May 2019.

Currently, Rahal is working at HEMAS HOLDINGS PLC. Rahal started as a Manager in June 2019 and held the position until April 2021. Rahal was then promoted to Senior Manager and served from April 2021 to December 2022. Currently, Rahal holds the position of Head of Group Finance starting from January 2023.

Rahal Perera has a diverse education history. In 1996, they attended Prince of Wales' College and completed their G.C.E Advance Level in Business/Commerce. From 2010 to 2015, Perera studied at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. In 2016, they pursued further education at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka, completing a degree in Chartered Accountancy. Later in 2016, Perera joined the University of Colombo to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, which they completed in 2018. Lastly, from 2019 to 2021, they attended the University of Moratuwa and obtained a Master of Science degree in Business Statistics.
