HEMMERA
Jennifer Trowell is an experienced environmental risk assessor and toxicologist currently serving as Practice Leader for Environmental Risk Assessment at Ausenco since June 2019. Trowell has held multiple roles at Hemmera, including Risk Assessor since August 2016, and previously worked at Keystone Environmental in similar capacities from April 2013 to July 2016, focusing on assessing risks related to contaminants in the environment. At Azimuth Consulting Group Inc., from June 2011 to March 2013, Trowell contributed as an Environmental Toxicologist, engaging in data review and ecological risk assessment. Earlier academic roles include Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at Simon Fraser University, where Trowell's research centered on the metabolism of harmful chemicals in aquatic species. Trowell holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Toxicology from Simon Fraser University and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Saskatchewan.
