Cecil Horwitz

Cecil Horwitz is an experienced professional in business development, with a strong focus on agriculture, sustainability, and climate change mitigation. Currently serving as the Head of Business Development, Sustainability, and Carbon Credit Strategy for Hempalta Corp since October 2023, Cecil previously held multiple leadership roles at Spiritleaf, including Vice President of Retail Operations and Vice President of Business Development, where Cecil played a key role in establishing a significant retail presence in the cannabis market. Additionally, Cecil founded and operated the Whole Family Health and Pregnancy Centre, a pioneering clinic in Alberta, and directed the business development efforts for Watchit!, successfully expanding it from one location to 32.
