Desmond Morgan

Desmond Morgan is an experienced professional with a diverse background in athletics, education, project management, and military operations. Currently serving in athletics and education at Hempstead ISD since August 2022, Desmond previously held the position of Athletic Director at KIPP Texas Public Schools - Houston from July 2016 to October 2022. Desmond's career also includes roles such as Facilities Maintenance Manager at GE Oil & Gas, where responsibilities involved ensuring compliance and operational effectiveness, and Project Engineer at VAM-USA, focusing on the design of pipe connection fittings for oil and gas. Earlier experience includes serving as Site Manager for Engineering Solutions and Products, overseeing military fielding efforts, and various leadership roles in the United States Marine Corps, including Communication Operations & Training Officer and Radio Platoon Commander.
