Ray J Watson

Ray J Watson, MDIV, M.S.S.E. currently serves as the Assistant Principal at Hempstead ISD since July 2023, providing leadership and support for 4th to 5th-grade educators, students, and parents while coordinating Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings. Previous roles include 8th-grade Social Studies Teacher at Cypress-Fairbanks ISD and Spring ISD, where responsibilities encompassed mentoring new teachers, conducting professional development, and implementing effective teaching practices. Additionally, teaching experience spans various educational institutions, with a focus on differentiated instruction and fostering student engagement. Ray J Watson holds a Master's of Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary, an M.S. in Secondary Education from the University at Albany, and substantial involvement in youth ministry and tutoring roles.
