Vicky Akaniwabo

Vicky Akaniwabo is an engineer at Hence Technologies. Vicky has been working in the field of engineering for 2 years and 3 months. Prior to joining Hence Technologies, they worked as a software developer at Banque Populaire Du Rwanda Plc for 1 year and 10 months. Vicky was also a software engineer at AOS Ltd for 1 year and 3 months. Vicky has played a major role in analyzing, designing, developing, deploying and supporting BPR’s internal business applications. Vicky has also developed integrations with vendor sourced software. In their role at AOS Ltd, they participated in developing, deploying and maintaining e-procurement system for Rwanda, as well as other internal business applications/projects. Vicky is skilled in collaborating with business analysts and system designers as well as other software developers to produce software systems. Vicky is also experienced in making concept notes/pre-consulting materials and proposals.

Vicky Akaniwabo has a Master's degree in Information Technology from Carnegie Mellon University, where they concentrated in software engineering and data science. Vicky also has a Bachelor's Level Diploma in Front-End Web Development from OpenClassrooms, and a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Adventist University of Central Africa, where they concentrated in software engineering.
