Suzanne Higgins is the Director of Development at Henderson Behavioral Health, overseeing fund development activities. Suzanne previously held similar roles at Leadership Broward Foundation, Children's Diagnostic & Treatment Center, Covenant House Florida, and United Hearing & Deaf Services. Suzanne also has experience as a Legislative Assistant III for State Representative Debby P. Sanderson. Suzanne holds a degree in Organizational Communication/Marketing from the University of Miami.

It is our Mission to be the premier provider of accessible, cost effective, and quality behavioral healthcare services to the people of South Florida, in order to promote their mental health and well-being. Established in 1953, Henderson Behavioral Health (HBH or Henderson) provides healthcare, housing, and hope for over 30,000 persons of all ages with behavioral health conditions in Florida each year. Through care, supported employment, advocacy, and housing, Henderson assists and inspires people with mental illnesses and substance use disorders to reclaim their lives.
