Jennifer Rogers

Jennifer Rogers has a diverse work experience in the education sector. Jennifer is currently working as the Director of College Counseling at Henderson Collegiate since June 2022, previously serving as the Dean of Students from July 2020 to June 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Contributing Writer at Blavity starting from January 2016. Jennifer also held the role of Assistant Academic Director at PAVE Schools from July 2019 to June 2020. Jennifer has experience as a Dean of Upper Elementary at National Heritage Academies from July 2017 to June 2019. Jennifer worked at Queen City STEM School as a 6th and 7th Grade ELA Teacher, Grade Level Chair, and Mentor Teacher from July 2015 to June 2017. Jennifer also worked as a 6th Grade ELA Teacher at Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools from August 2014 to June 2015. Jennifer started their career as a Founding Teacher at Henderson Collegiate from August 2010 to June 2014. Jennifer Rogers obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. In addition, they have obtained a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education in May 2021.
