Katie D.

Katie D. has a strong background in education and instructional leadership. Katie started their career in 2013 with Teach For America, where they served as an English teacher and a SC Ambassador. During their time with Teach For America, they achieved impressive results, including producing the highest ELA MAP scores for the county in the 2013-2014 year and achieving an 81% English 1 End of Course Pass rate in a rural community.

In 2015, Katie D. joined Henderson Collegiate and took on multiple roles over the years. Katie started as a Grade Level Chair and English Teacher, where they likely taught English courses and held leadership responsibilities for a specific grade level. Katie later transitioned to become an Instructional Coach, where they likely provided support and guidance to other teachers.
