Wouter van Elburg is an experienced architectural historian currently serving at Hendrick de Keyser Monumenten since September 2016, while also contributing as a member of the Amsterdam Committee at Erfgoedvereniging Bond Heemschut since April 2020. As a lecturer and PhD candidate at the University of Amsterdam since December 2017, Wouter focuses on the typological development of Dutch residential architecture. Previous research includes a project on the development of the 19th-century country house Beeckestijn. Wouter's educational background includes a PhD and a master’s degree in architectural history and heritage studies from the University of Amsterdam, complemented by a BA in art history and studies at Sotheby's Institute of Art and HKU.
