Kayden Hanks

Kayden Hanks is a Race Engineer at Hendrick Motorsports since March 2024 and has sustained a parallel role as a Data Analysis Engineer at Kayden Hanks Racing since January 2020, focusing on performance improvement through data analysis and video software. Previously, Kayden led the 49ers Racing team at UNC Charlotte, achieving a historic 2nd place in the 2024 FSAE Michigan competition while overseeing vehicle design and performance metrics. With experience as a Race Engineering Intern at Hendrick Motorsports and as an Engineering Intern at Trackhouse Entertainment Group, Kayden possesses a strong foundation in race operations, simulation tools, and component design. Educationally, Kayden is pursuing a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Motorsports at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, expected to graduate in May 2024.
