Luke Mitchell

Luke Mitchell is an experienced race engineer with a background in both internship and technician roles. Currently serving as a Race Engineer at Hendrick Motorsports since August 2021, Luke previously held a position as a Race Engineer Intern for the #9 car in the NASCAR Cup Series, focusing on data analysis and performance enhancement. Prior experiences include working as a Shop Technician at Colorado Mesa University and serving as Team Captain for Mesa Motorsports. Luke also gained hands-on experience during a summer internship with the number 88 NASCAR Cup Series team at Hendrick Motorsports, where responsibilities included shadowing race engineers and team mechanics. Luke holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder, completed in 2021.
