Jay Similien

Jay Similien currently serves as the Dean of Discipline and English Teacher at Hendry County School Board, a position held since January 2018, where also acts as Head Coach of CHS Track & Field. Prior to this role, Jay Similien taught Language Arts at Seminole County Public Schools from August 2013 to January 2018, earning the distinction of 2016-2017 Seminole County Public School Middle School Rookie Teacher of the Year. Jay Similien holds a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from the American College of Education (2018-2020) and a Bachelor's of Science in English Language Education from the University of Central Florida.
