Thomas Schäfer

Thomas Schäfer has extensive experience in the field of development and filtration. Thomas is currently the Head of Development for Fluid Power Filter Elements at Hengst Filtration since 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Bosch Rexroth, where they held various roles including Team Leader Development for Filtration and Filter Media from 2018 to 2021, and Head of Development from 2008 to 2017. Before joining Bosch Rexroth, Thomas was at K.&H. Eppensteiner GmbH & Co. KG, where they served as the Head of Test Department and Laboratory from 2003 to 2008, and as a Research Engineer from 1988 to 2003.

Thomas Schäfer attended Hochschule Mannheim from 1984 to 1988, where they obtained a degree in Verfahrenstechnik as a Diplom-Ingenieur (FH). In 2000, they earned a certification in Management für Juniors from the Management School St.Gallen. Additionally, they received the Dipl.-Ing. (FH) certification from Hochschule Mannheim in May 1988.
