Dr. Stefan Neuhaus

Dr. Stefan Neuhaus has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Dr. Stefan started their career as an Intern Group Accounting at ThyssenKrupp in 2000 and later worked as an Intern Group Accounting at RWE AG in 2002. In 2003, they joined Ruhr-Universität Bochum as a Research Assistant and PhD Student. During this time, they also served as a Lecturer at ESMT European School of Management and Technology from 2004 to 2008. In 2008, they returned to ThyssenKrupp as a Senior Project Manager Corporate M&A until 2013. Since then, they have been working at Henkel where they held the role of Director Corporate M&A from 2013 to 2019, and is currently serving as the Head of M&A (Vice President).

Dr. Stefan Neuhaus completed their education at multiple institutions. In 1997-2003, they attended Ruhr University Bochum and obtained a Diploma in Ökonom, with a focus on International Accounting, Corporate Finance & Banking, Statistics, and Macroeconomics. In 1999-2000, they pursued graduate studies in Business Administration and Economics at Helsingin kauppakorkeakoulu. In 2008, they obtained a Ph.D. (Dr. rer. oec) from Ruhr University Bochum, specializing in the external funding of pension benefit plans. In 2017, they also completed the Advanced Management Program 2.0 at IESE Business School, where they studied General Management.
