Emily McDonald is an experienced environmental educator with a strong background in outreach and engagement. Currently serving as an Environmental Educator at Hennepin County since November 2021, Emily previously held the position of Outreach and Engagement Coordinator at Anoka Soil and Water Conservation District from September 2018 to November 2021, where responsibilities included managing organizational communications, developing outreach materials, and coordinating collaborative efforts with local government partners. Emily's prior experience includes a role as a MNGreenCorps Member with the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency, where skills in community engagement and stormwater management were developed. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Macalester College and a Certificate of Environmental Education from Hamline University, complemented by a study abroad program in Marine Biology at James Cook University.
