Tyler Lupkes

Tyler Lupkes has a diverse work experience in the emergency medical services field. Tyler started their career in 2008 as a Paramedic Specialist/Firefighter in Woodbury County Disaster and Emergency Services, where they provided advanced life support care and responded to medical, fire, and rescue calls. In 2010, they joined Siouxland Paramedics, Inc as a Paramedic Specialist, where they assessed and treated ill and injured individuals according to established guidelines. In 2012, they worked as a Maritime Paramedic for Princess Cruises, serving as one of the first maritime paramedics on cruise ships and helping develop a pilot program. Tyler also formed relationships with non-domestic medical professionals. In the same year, they joined Hennepin EMS as a Paramedic, where they assessed and treated approximately 1,200 medical and trauma patients per year and served as a Paramedic Instructor and training officer. Prior to these roles, from 2007 to 2012, they worked as a 911 Telecommunicator at Woodbury County 911 Communications, where they answered emergency and routine phone lines, dispatched appropriate resources, and provided pre-arrival instructions.

Tyler Lupkes completed paramedicine studies at the Avera McKennan School of EMS from 2005 to 2006. In 2016, they successfully finished a course in EMS Management at Creighton University. Tyler also holds additional certifications including NREMT - Paramedic from the National Registry of EMTs, Paramedic from the Minnesota EMSRB, and Simulation Lab Instructor from Hennepin County Medical Center. The exact dates of obtaining these certifications are not provided.
