Jason Schnase

Jason Schnase is currently serving as Battalion Chief of Logistics and Safety at the Port of Seattle, a position held since July 2003, and holds several leadership roles, including Chair of the Port Fire Department Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee and Chair of the Port Fire Department Safety Committee. Additionally, Jason is involved with Bates Technical College as a member of the Fire Service Advisory Committee and serves as an Alternate Board of Director member for the Washington State Fire Fighters Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee. Jason has also contributed to the Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting Working Group as a member of the Board of Directors, including roles as Chairperson and Treasurer, while previously instructing in aviation firefighting at Big Bend Community College and serving as a contract instructor for the Washington State Fire Training Academy. Jason's firefighting career began as a volunteer resident firefighter in the City of Pacific from 1999 to 2003.
