Tom Hayes

Tom Hayes is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in public relations and marketing, currently serving as the Vice President of Public Relations and Marketing at Hennepin Healthcare since April 2000. In this role, Tom manages various aspects of marketing and communications, including media relations and community relations, and participates on the boards of the East Town Business Partnership and the Downtown East Development Task Force. Prior experience includes positions as a Communications Specialist at Hennepin County, Program Developer/Producer at CCX Media, President of Ben Deike Transfer & Storage, and a Volunteer with the Peace Corps in Honduras. Tom also has a background in journalism, having worked as a reporter at WBAY-TV and KSFY-TV. Academically, Tom holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Augustana University and a Master of Science in Technical Communications from Metro State University.
